BREWSTER'S MILLIONS, a photoplay in
9 reels by Edward Small Productions.
© 7Apr45; L15220. Edward Small Pro-
ductions, Inc. (PWH); 25Sep72; R536465.

This movie has an in-notice of MCMXLIV = 1944.

Going by the in-notice of 1944 the renewal period would run from April 7th 1971 to April 7th 1972. The movie was not renewed until September 25th, 1972. This is not a timely renewal as it's 5 months late.

The anniversary date has no effect for an earlier year-in-notice. Renewal windows for works with an earlier than published/registered date-in-notice are based on the 28th calendar year.

1944 + 28 = 1972 (so a renewal window of 1 Jan 1972-31 Dec 1972)

This is all explained in the introductory pages of the Film Superlists if you are looking for clarification.
